Here is the new Edwardian Terrace House Kit brand new in the box just waiting to be built!
A dry run first to see how it will all fit together. I always do this as it allows me to make any adjustments or changes which I nearly always do!
The small ‘room’ on the left on the first floor is going to be changed….the archway is going to be removed and a new wall and door added to make a small box room.
This photo shows the front elevation of the house which will eventually be hinged onto the main body of the house. I will decorate this and add the windows first.
All the small decorative building pieces being painted. I’ve used sample pots of masonary paint for this.
Doors and windows having a coat of paint
The exterior has been decorated using fibreglass brick sheets and I used a roller to paint all the internal walls and ceilings with an off white emulsion. The bay window has been built and glued onto the front. Getting all this done before assembly is so much easier!
The main body of the house is all glued together and the roof hinges screwed on…
Here you can see where I’ve cut through from the back wall of the house and added a doorway which will lead into the new kitchen. I’ve also left out the arched wall in that front bedroom ready for the new wall and doorway in there.
So that is progress so far….!
